Beer starts in the soil & no one works harder, or has a stronger relationship with their soil, than farmers. We are proud to be one few breweries in the world to grow & malt their own barley onsite.

Barley & Malt

Barley is the backbone of beer. It is the magical grain that makes beer possible, containing the perfect ratio of enzymes, sugar, protein, and fibre. Independent and local is the way it should be grown. Leading to regional and diverse differences you can taste in the final product.

Water

Often overlooked, water is quintessential to beer’s history. Many of our favorite and most well known beers resulted largely from the unique water available to the brewers in historic times. We use only the pristine well water found beneath our Certified Organic fields to brew our beer.

Hops

Our farm is perfectly situated on the West Coast of North America, one of the finest hops growing regions of the world. Pemberton’s unique climate ensures hot growing seasons and long winters, always one of BC’s best farming regions.
